What gas milage should a 1978 Monte Carlo with the original 305v8 get?

It only has 19,000 original miles. Hard to believe I know. But it was parked for 27yrs. Ive replaced everything including the carb, adjusted th jets, ect.. It's only getting 10mpg, maybe less! Is that right? Some tips will be helpful. Thanks
