HELP - FOR PROM, is my dress alright for Prom?

Not for prom. It's a very beautiful dress, but if you go with a shorter hemline for a formal event, it has to be especially fancy. I think the thinner fabric and the fact that it only has one layer dresses it down a little too much, plus the draping gives it a more laid-back feel. Go ahead and rock a shorter dress, but i would recommend finding a more formal one. Good luck!
