My boyfriend thinks i dress sl***y... guys would this bother you?

by the way i do not dress like a s*** and i am not a s*** but in the summer i like to wear dresses - yes i show my legs but they are only dresses above my knee, and i dont wear heels in the day. or i might wear a top that shows my belly on piercing. i would say i was attractive and get male attention which he doesnt like. but would this bother u as well? im not doing it for male attention, its more just to boost my confidence wearing what i like, and i like to look nice for my boyfriend. he has stopped me wearing shorts all together, and made me take my heels off once and wear flat shoes. he also didnt like it when i wore foundation on my face once. im 20 by the way. would you be the same?
