My Honda HR214 is blowing white smoke. What could be the problem?

I just got this mower running. Now it's blowing white smoke. Starting on the first pull, but has quite a bit of smoke. I did use a lot of carb cleaner in it, so I'm wondering if the problem is just a lot of stuff burning off. It does reduce when it's running longer, but it doesn't seem to stop completely. Only had it running for a total of about 8 minutes so far.
